TPAS Leadership Opportunity

Treatment Providers in Alumni Services (TPAS) is seeking proposals to help the organization in strategic planning, financial management, marketing, event execution, and grant writing. The contractor will work in close collaboration with the Board of Directors, and external partners to enhance TPAS’s growth, sustainability, and impact within the alumni services, focusing on organizations that provide substance use and mental health treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Financial Oversight:

  • Manage accounts receivable and ensure efficient billing and collection.
  • Handle payments to vendors and reimburse board members’ travel expenses.
  • Oversee financial transactions and record-keeping using appropriate technology.
  • Work with the Treasurer to prepare financial statements for board meetings.
  • Support the completion of tax returns through hired accountant.

Membership and Marketing Management:

  • Manage accounts receivable and ensure efficient billing and collection.
  • Handle payments to vendors and reimburse board members’ travel expenses.
  • Oversee financial transactions and record-keeping using appropriate technology.
  • Work with the Treasurer to prepare financial statements for board meetings.
  • Support the completion of tax returns through hired accountant.
  • Oversee membership dues, invoicing, and monitor account statuses.
  • Manage membership platforms as needed.
  • Delegate and oversee social media strategy across various platforms.
  • Participate in committee meetings and contribute as needed.
  • Manage marketing campaigns as prescribed.
  • Maintain inventory of TPAS merchandise and event materials.
  • Responsible for handling incoming calls and delegating requests.

Event Coordination and Execution:

  • Will act as the permanent member of the Collab Committee to ensure
    execution.
  • Handle post-event responsibilities, including surveys and communication.
  • Manage logistical aspects of member workshops, meetings, and other events.
  • Facilitate member onboarding and engagement in workshops.

Sponsorship and Partnership Development:

  • Actively seeks and secures sponsorships for TPAS events and programs.
  • Oversee virtual collaborative events as needed.

Grant Writing and Fundraising:

  • Lead efforts to secure funding through grants from diverse sources.
  • Identify grant opportunities and develop proposals.
  • Coordinate with the board and staff for grant application processes.
  • Monitor progress and fulfill reporting requirements of successful grants.
  • Maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a related
    field are preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in a non-profit organization, preferably in healthcare or alumni
    services.
  • Strong financial management skills, including experience with QuickBooks or similar software.
  • Expertise in board relations, event planning, and digital marketing.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as a fully remote.
  • Ability to travel to collaboratives and board meetings.
  • All other duties as assigned.
